I stumbled onto your blog while looking for an album cover. I am jealous. To some extent it looks like what I would like to do with my blog but never find the time or energy to actually execute the vision. You also have unbelievably good taste in music. Anyway, I graduated from U of O in 1991. Still live in Eugene. Saturday was a good day to be a Duck! Keep up the good work and I plan on checking back from time to time.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say that as a music lover, I am ecstatic to have found this wonderful resource for fresh music. You know when you find yourself listening to the same old bands, cd’s, and records that you’ve been hearing for years? Well, ever since I stumbled upon your blog, I have invested in new music based on your suggestions, and couldn’t be happier!

Specifically, the Fleet Foxes, Skip Spence, Bon Iver, and Calexico have been added to my collection because of this blog. I love the fact that your writing is sincere and unsophisticated, and that you come from a true music-lover’s perspective. Your taste is never limited to any one genre, and you don’t get lost in the minutiae of “rarities” by obscure bands that are forgotten for a reason. What I’m trying to say is that you always stay close to the heart of your original intention to spread the gospel of great music, and I’m very thankful for your efforts. Keep up the good work, it’s great to see that technology has given you a place to express your talents and share them with the world.
