Understandably, there is isn’t a lot of information out there on this brilliant Beatles bootleg/parody. The album itself is a below average hodge-podge of Rubber Soul demos, outtakes, live cuts and interviews, but the real story here is the cover art. This artwork was originally featured in the October, 1977 issue of National Lampoon magazine, which was dedicated exclusively to The Fab Four. Which means that this gem was probably issued sometime in 1978. I’m usually pretty sensible on eBay, but I had to have this, so I could hang it next to this and this. Twenty-four bids and $152.50 later, it’s up on the wall…
