Music is a worldwide phenomenon, but seeing musicians from different countries virtually jamming together really brings that idea home. This montage comes from the PBS special ‘Playing For Change’ and it’s a moving tribute to the power of music, and how it can unite different cultures in true harmony…

I stumbled across this on PBS some weeks ago and was literally enchanted by it. It was on my DVR and I watched it about three times in a few days, each time really getting sucked in by a different part (the Irish Protestant/Catholic Youth choir, tribal music from Africa, the covers combining musicians from around the world).
It’s not the most polished doc but the material is so positive and uplifting, it’s pure joy. Watch it and watch it often.
