On July 20th, 1969 Neil Armstrong and his band of singing astronauts took the original moonwalk and made that “giant leap for mankind.” In honor of the anniversary of this historic event, here are a dozen albums that take their inspiration – or at least part of their title – from a certain orbiting body…

Pink Floyd | Dark Side Of The Moon

Nick Drake | Pink Moon

Air | Moon Safari

Tom Petty | Full Moon Fever

Neville Brothers | Yellow Moon

Television | Marquee Moon

Neil Young | Harvest Moon

Ozzy Osbourne | Bark At The Moon

Be water. That might be my new motto, I worked w/ a guy when I lived in Oakland who studied Jeet Kune Do with Bruce Lee. He could bring a man down with one punch to the chest just like Bruce.

I am water. The client wants me to be clever, I become clever. He wants me to become stupid, I become stupid. Whatever the client wants, I become…as long as the checks clear at the end of the week.
That’s such a poetic way of saying that I ‘sell out’ for approximately 40 hours a week. Damn, I got to get into a different line of business.
