when — and if — you ever hit the lou, and i don’t mean the pottie, i think you’ll be adding the record exchange to this list. located in what used to be an auxiliary branch of the stl library, their vinyl collection is mind blowing. for added fun, they also sell refurbed analog gear and any other music-related item you can conjure up.

I know this is a late comment, but I just discovered your blog yesterday :-)

It’s outside of LA, but it’s my absolute favorite record store – Vinyl Solution in Huntington Beach. Great selection, great prices, and great staff :-)

The only one i’ve been to on that list is Dave’s. maybe someday (if they still exist by then) i can make the others….

Here in NJ Vintage Vinyl is about the only real “record” store anymore…..
