Here is the cover art for my mix ‘Some Broken Romance’ – a sound spectacular that celebrates the desolation of the broken heart. Or some sorry shiznit like that…
Here’s the front cover:

[Please note: I physically burned the bottom right hand corner of each cover with a Bic lighter to carry through on the fire theme.]
Here’s the inside front cover:

there’s also one bonus track, which is decidedly upbeat compared to ween or iggy.

Dude, I would have loved this mix when I was a Sophomore in High School. I have a feeling you have personal experience with the Def Leppard song? Rather than “Blue eyes crying in the rain”, I would have taken “Blue Rock Montana”. You know, the part about “they died with smiles on their faces”.
I also can’t believe you would make a ‘feel sorry’ compilation and not include any Pink Floyd. Isn’t that like making a list of whiny tennis players and not including John McEnroe? My two recommendations are “Wish You Were Here” (alright smarty pants, tell me it was written for Syd Barrett and all, but it gets the job done) and ‘Vera’ from the Wall. “The Final Cut” deserves honorable mention since it takes the doldrum cake, but it’s a little far afield.
